Single, weekly or monthly tickets
What rights do I have in regard to single, weekly or monthly tickets?
You are entitled to compensation when your train is delayed for more than 60 minutes. Where single tickets are concerned, this means that you are entitled to 25% of the ticket price for delays that exceed 60 minutes and 50% of the ticket price for delays that exceed 120 minutes. The proportionate share of the price for each direction of travel will be compensated for return tickets. The companies may determine the amount of compensation for weekly and monthly tickets themselves. You will find information about compensation rates on the railway companies' respective websites. Compensation is only paid out above a minimum amount of 4 euro. The company may exclude compensation for lower amounts.
